This Scouts4GreenApp application form is designed to help you develop and present a sustainability concept that aligns with the project's goals of integrating ecological, economic, and social sustainability into vocational education and training in the workplace. 

Sustainable Development  concerns us all – but many people are not aware of how much they influence their environment with their daily actions! Show us how you consciously practice ecological, economic and social sustainability in your everyday vocational training – and win one of 3 attractive awards as well as a sponsored trip to the EU Parliament in Brussels!

Project Concept Overview:

  • What problem does your project address?

  • How does it aim to practically improve sustainability in your host company or vocational training?

Describe your project concept in detail. Please do not forget to give it a great title.

Alignment with Sustainable Development Goal(s):

  • Which Sustainable Development Goal(s) (SDG´s) does your project primarily address?
  • How does your concept align with these goals, and what specific aspects of sustainability (ecological, economic, social) does it focus on?

Please be precise here to know in which path of the challenge you can be awarded.

Implementation Plan:

  • What steps will you take, and what timeline do you envision for completion?
  • What resources will you need, and how will you overcome potential challenges?

Outline your plan for implementing this concept within your (host) company.
Ensure that you regularly reflect on the impact of your concept and identify areas for improvement.

Innovation and Creativity

  • What makes your project concept innovative?
  • How does it contribute to a greener European economy?
  • What unique solutions does it offer compared to existing practices?

Feasibility and Impact

  • What potential long-term impact do you foresee?
  • How can your concept be scaled or adapted for wider use?
  • Explain why your concept is feasible for implementation in a real-world company setting.

Research and Understanding

  • What key findings informed your project concept?
  • Which current trends can you tap into?
  • Summarize the research you conducted on sustainability issues in your vocational training sector.

Collaboration and Team

  • What diverse perspectives did they bring?
  • How did this collaboration enhance your project?
  • If applicable, describe how you collaborated with colleagues or mentors in developing this concept.

Measurement and Evaluation

  • How will you measure the success of your project?
  • What key performance indicators (KPIs) will you use?
  • How will you evaluate the effectiveness of your concept over time?

Best Practice Description

  • Provide a concise description of your concept for the international best practices online brochure.
  • Highlight the innovative aspects and potential benefits for other companies or sectors.
